Legal status
Assocjazzjoni Maltija Tal-Apikultura (Maltese Beekeeping Association) is a voluntary organisation enrolled in Malta under registration number VO/0550.
The association is non-profit. No profit or surplus is distributed to members; all income is used for the association's aims as set out in its statute.
How funds are used
Funds come from membership fees, donations and activities. They are spent on training, education, outreach and running costs, approved by the committee and reported to members at the general meeting.
Conflicts of interest
Committee members declare any personal or financial interest in a matter under discussion and do not take part in the decision. Declarations are recorded in the minutes.
