Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy

The welfare of children and vulnerable adults comes first in all our school and youth activities.

Our commitments

• Activities with minors are supervised by at least two adults; a teacher or guardian remains present.
• Volunteers working with children are briefed on this policy and, where required, vetted under Maltese law.
• Photos of children are taken or published only with written consent from a parent or guardian.
• Protective equipment is provided and safety rules are explained before any close contact with bees.
• Allergies are asked about in advance.

Raising a concern

Any concern should be reported immediately to the committee at madelyn@aqca.org. Where a child may be at risk, contact the authorities (Malta's support line 179 or the Police on 112).
